Knit along

I am doing the Stephen West KAL (knit along). The whole thing is a mystery, we have only received one clue so far. The challenging part was choosing three colors to make it with. I was going to use some Madeline Tosh but used some Trekking XXL that I had in my stash instead. Depending on how this works out I may make another using the Madeline Tosh yarn I had originally bought for this project. I have so many Christmas or Winter Holiday of Choice gifts to make that I fear I am falling behind. I have to buy needles, absolute shocker, to make some of the gifts. I  have been so focused on small gauged items lately that I cannot find any size 5's, well I do have one but that will not be enough to do these gifts I need at least one more. I actually cannot wait to start making these gifts since I will be using Madeline Tosh DK weight yarn and the colors are delicious! The lovely little picture I have added here is something I may be giving away as a Christmas gift at either my weekly knitting group or to someone else on my list.
