Going to revive this blog, if anyone is of interest. I am going to post more short stories than other creative projects here. I have been writing a short today and may be able to post it next week from work.

Finishing projects for Nerd Wars on Ravelry

Here are a couple of projects that I have finished for Nerd Wars on Ravelry -

Going in order of appearance is the Traveling Gnome, Soap Sack, Owl Scarf, Slug, and Star dishrag. The slug and gnome are just simple toys and were fun to knit up. The dishrag is huge and I would certainly make it again but a smaller version. This competition has helped me get some projects done that otherwise would not have been finished but ignored in my favorites list on Ravelry. I am working on my knitted cowl for my dissertation in Nerd Wars. It has been a chore but it is looking good. I have also been inspired to finish older projects because of this competition and find more enjoyment in my knitting overall.

Dear Anonymous,

These blogs are still new, I mean so new there are not even that many features available because I have not gotten that far with these new children. :) They are mere sprouts if not more like seedlings. Just like thoughts and inspiration they need time to develop. But I believe these will develop quickly as I feel more and more of a need to write these days.
