Toe-Up Socks done

Here are my socks! I linked the cast-on in the video bar. It is the best cast-on ever! I cast-on 16 stitches and then increased to 36 on each needle and worked up until I reached the length I wanted. Once I passed the heel I did a 3/2 ribbing and bound off in pattern.

I am currently waiting for the "Wicked Witch Rides Again" sock yarn to come so I can get started on those socks. There was a post on Ravelry but someone removed the spoiler. What I saw/remember of the spoiler it looks like a lot of fun. I cannot wait for my package to get here. I also signed up for the rest of the Wizard of Oz sock club. Unfortunately I missed the first year of this two year club. The funny thing is that I had a dream about the Wizard of Oz the morning I found out about this club. The dream was of all of the backsides of the good characters seeing the Emerald City for the first time. Ironically enough the first year of the sock club was all about the good characters. I managed to sign up for the Wicked Witch and her guards and the flying monkeys as some examples of future sock kits. If you go to woolgirl.com her current sock clubs are "Let them eat cake" and "Charlie Brown" kits. If I had completely missed out on Oz sock club I would have done the cake sock kit club. I will post a picture once I receive my Wicked Witch Rides Again kit.

Peace, love, and light!
