Still Knitting and doing some Hardanger

The weather here has finally changed to something a little more tolerable for knitting projects. Let me put it this way, I can drink tea and knit my blanket again because the weather has dropped out of the 100's down to the 60's this morning and is supposed to rain today, yeah! I have started another pair of socks too. I was trying to do the Frankensock thing on Ravelry but apparently most of my odds and ends of sock yarn are still in storage. I am trying to knit up the sock yarn that I have so I can create more odds and ends so I can some Frankensock sock knitting. The pictures the ladies have posted for their cast ons and stashes are amazing. For my part though, and in keeping with Halloween theme, I did start cross stitch with a cat and a jack-0-lantern (spooky isn't it?). In the arena of Hardanger I am working on an Angel Christmas tree ornament. I have to back out my blanket stitch on her a little bit so I can start a new thread so I can start and finish the complicated head stitches with one thread.

I just wanted to give a heads up on project status and updates. I will post some pictures soon of projects in progress.
