Newly Finished and in progress projects

I picked up a couple of things from the framer today. While I was picking these items up I was told of how another client zero'ed in on my "Proud Lil' Pumpkins" cross stitch and immediately asked the ladies at the framer if it was my work. How can someone tell my work by just looking at it? The ladies at the shop thought this was really funny but one of the ladies at the framer also uses me as a standard of some kind in what is "acceptable" in terms of her own creative work. I am no one by which standards should be set. I have a hard enough time meeting my own impossible standards so how would anyone else be able to meet them? Anyway, I have taken pictures of my most recent works of object d'Art along with the blanket I am working on that I mentioned in a previous post. For the pumpkin cross stitch I took the picture a little off center so the frame I had chosen could be shown off a little. The funny thing is that at the framer's I have my own tube of future framing possibilities. These days I stitch to match the frame, which is a little backwards but all part of the creative process, which helps my framer out with some of their back-stock. The blanket is only two skeins in the picture and almost completely covers the top of my lap with no wrap around yet but soon.

Peace, love, and light to all!
