Earthquake of many magnitudes

The earthquake happened about 4am and lasted about 10 seconds or less. It woke up the entire household. Emma was a little frightened because it was her first earthquake experience. But we all went back to sleep afterwards. Everyone at the cube farm was talking about the earthquake. The only problem with this is mass hysteria. Since the earthquakes of Haiti and Chile people are very concerned, understandable. But they keep talking about a big one coming.

They are only giving power to the one thing they do not want to have. Words have power and they are creating a self fulfilling prophecy. Which later they will all stand around and say "didn't I tell you this would happen?" The same thing happens with rain around here or at least that is the trend I have been noticing. People will say "what we need is a really good rain" of course it takes a drought and threats of water rationing to get people around here to say rain is needed. But once they start saying rain is needed it comes in torrents.

Now onto other cube farm related events. One rotten vegetable has the entire farm terrorized. The farmers live in constant fear of this particular vegetable. The fear...she will sue. This particular vegetable is just a bully and a closeted lesbian, in my opinion and a popular opinion among the other vegetables on the farm. But the farmers let her "do" no matter how disruptive or destructive she can be she is left to her own devices. Well this vegetable does not put up with her "bad apple spoils the bushel" attitude. So I called her on it and that started an uproar in the office. But the farmers will not do anything about this bad veggie they will just allow this one rotten veggie to spoil the rest of the office. But that is okay because they deserve the crop they have sown. Now I am prophesying the farms own demise, imagine that.
