Shocking I know, I have finally gotten some pictures to share of Mrs. Emma Peel - the borderline evil genius puppy and some of my knitting projects. This is Emma. She does not usually sit still for pictures she usually has her nose up to the lens or moving to fast to catch her on camera.
Now here are some pictures of my knitting. The first will be of my entrelac scarf. The picture is with only one skein done so far. I am using Trendsetter - Tonalita yarn. The following picture is of my soap bag that I am working on as Christmas gifts this year. The soap bags are knitted in Sugar-n-Cream cotton yarn. But I have just recently found this really cool cotton yarn for making these little bags in. The new yarn is called Coolspun Cotton by Kertzer. The yarn comes in a variety of colors and is a little bit thicker than Sugar-n-Cream yarn thus making a little bit of a bigger soap bag. One skein of Coolspun Cotton makes one bag and icord with enough left over to knit a no-frills square rag for the kitchen. The soap bag pattern is really easy and can be found on www.ravelry.com. I will probably be filling these bags with handmade beeswax soap from the Montrose, CA farmers market. I was planning on making the soap myself but with school and so many projects to do who has the time? Maybe when school is over I can include soap making among my creative repertoire.
Peace, love, and light!
